Digital Creativity Awards '07
Two year’s film / TV training and work by 18 post primary schools culminated in “The Cross Border Digital Creativity Project Awards” at the Hillgrove Hotel, Monaghan on Wednesday the 30 th of May.
This “mini- Oscars” event showcased 18 films produced by 180 post primary students from both sides of the border and the whole event was recorded by the “Digital Creativity Truck”! The films the schools produced ranged from horror stories, talent shows, and school promotional films to school TV news. Each school received a unique CBDCP Award cast in bronze in recognition of their participation in this project which was part-financed by the European Union through the Interreg IIIA Programme managed for the Special EU Programmes Body by the ICBAN Partnership to the tune of €221,106.
