BBC Blast Festival

Blast inspires and supports 13 to 19 year olds to get creative. It helps develop skills so you can turn your ideas for art, dance, film, music, writing and games into a reality.

Using the Truck's facilities over a four day workshop, 12 young people learnt the techniques required to shoot and edit a 3 minute video package. These were then transmitted during breaks in an almost 3 hour concert.

The group, using 7 cameras were also responsible for coverage of the 10 band concert, under the guidance of experienced BBC personnel.

Quite a four days experience for them !
